Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, make sure you meet all of the following requirements:
- Must be a foreign citizen (non-Colombian)
- Must not have lived in Colombia within the last 6 months prior to application
- Must not currently be studying in Colombia
- Must be under 50 years of age
- Must not have previously benefited from the ICETEX Beca Colombia program
- Must not have marital or de facto ties in Colombia
- Must hold an undergraduate or graduate degree
- Must have a minimum GPA equivalent to 4.0 out of 5.0
- Must secure admission into at least one (up to three) eligible postgraduate programs
- Must provide a valid medical certificate confirming good physical and mental health
