Job Responsibilities
As a Cabin Crew member, you will:
- Ensure passenger safety throughout flights.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Assist passengers during boarding and disembarkation.
- Respond effectively during emergencies.
- Represent RwandAir professionally and uphold the airline's reputation.
- Create a comfortable and memorable travel experience for passengers.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must satisfy all mandatory requirements to be considered for recruitment.
1. Nationality Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen of Rwanda.
- Be legally eligible to work in Rwanda.
- Meet all requirements necessary to obtain and maintain a Cabin Crew License issued by the Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority (RCAA).
2. Age Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be at least 20 years old at the time of application.
- Be no older than 24 years for entry-level positions.
The upper age limit may be waived for experienced and currently qualified cabin crew members subject to operational needs and medical fitness requirements.
3. Educational Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- A minimum of a Senior Six Diploma (REB).
4. Language Requirements
Mandatory Languages
- English (spoken and written proficiency equivalent to ICAO Operational Level 4 or higher)
- Kinyarwanda (spoken and written fluency)
Preferred Languages
- French
Additional Advantage
Knowledge of the following languages will strengthen an application:
- Swahili
- Mandarin
- Arabic
- Other widely spoken African languages
5. Physical and Medical Fitness Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have no visible tattoos, body art, or scars that cannot be concealed while wearing the uniform.
- Be able to comfortably reach a minimum height of 212 cm without assistance.
- Have a maximum height of 190 cm.
- Be capable of swimming without assistance.
- Successfully complete a swimming assessment of at least 50 meters if required.
6. Character and Integrity Requirements
Applicants must:
- Demonstrate integrity and good character.
- Have no convictions related to fraud, theft, violence, drug-related offenses, aviation security violations, or similar crimes.
- Fully disclose any previous convictions, ongoing criminal proceedings, or pending legal matters.
- Provide accurate information throughout the recruitment process.
