Position Details
Position: Project Health Community Development Social Worker (HCDSW)
Number of Positions: 40 Positions
Work Locations:
Selected candidates will work across:
- Western Region
- Northern Region
- Southern Region
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Support the welfare and wellbeing of beneficiaries and their families
- Monitor and follow up on community interventions
- Provide guidance and support to identified beneficiaries
- Collect and enter community information into relevant systems
- Implement preventive measures against diseases and illnesses
- Advocate for children and youth protection
- Support child abuse prevention and response activities
- Assist in social and community development programs
This role requires individuals who are passionate about community service and improving people’s lives.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should meet the following qualifications and requirements:
Educational Background
Candidates should possess a background in one of the following fields:
- Advanced Diploma
- Public Health
- Midwifery
- Clinical Medicine
- Mental Health
- Social Work
- Development Studies
Professional Experience
Applicants should have:
- Between 1–4 years of experience
- Strong understanding of community development activities
Skills and Competencies
Candidates should demonstrate:
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in Kinyarwanda and English (written and spoken)
